The Mad Hatters Ball – The Hilton Coventry

We were invited to photograph the guests at the Mad Hatter Ball at the Hilton in Coventry on the evening of 23rd March. The room itself was beautifully decorated and laid, which is a create to the organisers and their staff.

Coincidentally, the first and third couples in the studio area were both celebrating their wedding anniversaries. Congratulations to both of you.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous 3 course meal, and a wide variety of entertainment, including Dancing heads!!!

Thank you to all the Alices and the Mad Hatter for making us feel so welcome. We hopefully will see you all again soon

Harjit and Balbir Wedding

On 10th March we were honoured to be invited to photograph the family and friends at Harjit and Balbir’s wedding. It was a great afternoon with people enjoying great food courtesy of Premier Rouge. They danced the afternoon away to music provided by Kudos.

Congratulations to Harjit and Balbir. We hope you have a long and happy marriage

We all had a great time, even though I broke a £4000 camera and a £1500 lens when I trip over an unsupervised child that was roaming around behind me.

Zipwire Event – In Aid of The Christie Charity

Sunday 4th March we were very privileged to photograph our first Zipwire Event for The Christie Charity.

100 participants braved cold, wet weather to experience the thrill of zipping down the wire over the length of the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford. Included in the throngs were stars from Coronation Street and Emmerdale. Well done to everyone that took part and raised a vast amount of money for a very great cause. And thank you to The Christie Charity for inviting us along on the day.

Zipwire Event – In Aid of Francis House Children’s Hospice

Many thanks to Francis House for once again inviting us along to photograph the participants at this year’s Zipwire event at the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford.

200 participants zipped down the wire to raise money for Francis House on a cold day, interspersed with some glorious sunshine.

Celebrities that took part included Andy Ritchie and Chris Gascoigne (pictured above) and also stars past ad present from Man Utd, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Fenny Compton Farmers 50th Anniversary Dinner

On the evening of the 25th February we were invited to photograph the guests attending the 50th anniversary of the Fenny Compton Farmers.

Over 300 people enjoyed fine food, fine company, fine music, fine venue and some ok photography!

Many thank to Mr John Moore for in visiting us along, and hopefully we will see everyone again soon.

Frank Carson KSG

We heard today of the sad passing of Frank Carson. Unbelievably he was 85! I say unbelievably as when on the 2 occasions I had the pleasure of photographing him he was so energetic and boisterous!

We photographed Frank at 2 successive Troopaid Balls, a charity he had deep affection for being an ex paratrooper himself. He had so much time for everyone on both of these occasions; ushering people to our mobile studio to have their photograph taken with him. He would instruct “2 at a time!! We want to make as much money for the charity as possible”.

It was wonderful seeing him trade stories and with old ex, and current young military personnel alike. In this day and age of the false, talentless celebrity culture we live in it was a joy to see someone with talent and humility plying his trade for free to raise money for those Army, Navy and RAF servicemen that need our help.

Many thanks Frank for everything. You were a cracker!!!

Neil and Bini Wedding

We had the pleasure of photographing the family and friends at the wedding of Neil and Bini at the Brilliant Restaurant in Slough. Although space was at a premium, it all seemed to go very well. A big thank you to Vikram for looking after us so well, and ensuring we were wined and dined……Well, supplied with Pepsi and food Also thank you to the Brilliant Restaurant for their lovely food.

School Portrait Days

We organise family portraiture days at schools. Are you fed up with the year in year out typical school photographs of your children? Have you seen the price of family portraits on the high street? There is an answer.

Why not organise a weekend in the school calendar where whole families can have their portraits done?

How does it work?
We allocate with the school a date for the  portrait day/s
We provide the literature to be handed out to parents and posters for the school
Appointments are then booked either via us or the school for families to attend a 15 min photo session at the school with us
There is a choice of white or black backgrounds on the day
We will have a series of printers on site on the day providing the option for families to view and purchase images immediately on the day
All images will also be put into a private password protected gallery on our website for viewing later

How much does it cost?
Each sitting costs £25 and comes with a free 9″x6″ print on the day
A 10% donation is given to the school
The person/school that books us get a £50 voucher for images on the day

Tal’s Birthday

Congratulations to Tal who celebrated his 40th Birthday Party at the Conference Suite in West Bromwich. 350 or so people enjoyed plenty of drink, entertainment and in particular food, which was supplied by Johal’s Caterers in Birmingham.

Thank you to Tal for having along on his big night. We hope that Tal and his family and friends all enjoyed their photographs, and had fun in our movie studio area.
